Reviews
The cheescake is brilliant, and deserves 5 stars. The filling is smooth, not too sweet, and the crust packs in a great deal of fragrance despite being so thin. I’d come back and do a takeaway just for this if I was ever in Kamakura. Even the unassuming walnut loaf cake was outstanding, despite looking very simple.
But the prices for drinks are completely out of whack, especially given the subpar delivery. 3 people are served one teapot, and the tea is left to steep in a pot with a cozy, so it becomes oversteeped and bitter in 5-10mins. So that’s ¥4100 for one pot of tea, that was never replenished and became oversteeped :(. They need to work on improving their beverages if they want to charge these prices.
If you love cheesecake, a must try.
1) A set of coffee/tea with cheesecake costs 2,700JPY so quiet expensive. But what you get is a very delicately cheesecake, not too sweet, not too sour, silky smooth texture, a hint of lemon, sweet cinnamon crust, pure extacy.
2) The place is way up in the mountains, the only public transport is by bus, which thankfully comes every 10 minutes. Also the building itself is quiet unique, it dangles on a cliff so you get a spectacular view of trees and cliffs below, not recommended if you have vertigo. We went in winter and I bet it's lovely come autumn.
3) The eat-in space is tiny, seats only about 10 people and they don't take seat reservation, so it's a bit risky coming all the way here. Reason is the place actually sells more cake as gifts online, so it's not a proper cafe with kitchen, it's more like an eat-in space to try out their cakes. It's so popular that sometimes it takes more than a week when you order online.
Definitely worth the trip all the up Mount Kamakura.

This shop is quietly located in a residential area of Mt. Kamakura.
The building has a unique structure that fits well with the cityscape here.
We recommend going by car, but you can also get there by bus in about 20 minutes.
The cheesecake has two layers, the top layer is slightly sour and the bottom layer is mellow.
When eaten together with the cookie part, the interaction was very harmonious and delicious.
The texture is smooth, neither too heavy nor too light.
The chocolate cake also looked quite delicious.
If you order tea, they will give you a refill.
From the window, you can see the beautiful greenery and relax.
Recommended when you want to spend some luxurious time.
It was mail order, but I received it.
I've always loved cheesecake, and I've tried many different ones, but House of Flavors was on a whole other level.
Did you really get this far? It was so delicious, it was definitely the best thing I've ever tasted in my life.
However, it's very heavy, so I guess I have to take one piece a day.
Currently, I have to wait about two weeks to eat it, so I would like to eat it again soon.
Feeling good on a sunny day
I was excited by the stylish interior and exterior. My friend made a reservation for me and I thoroughly enjoyed the cheesecake set!
The upper layer is more sour and the lower layer is sweeter.
Both melted in my mouth.
Just remembering it makes me drool
It was delicious ♪ The dough that wrapped the cheesecake was also delicious.
The cinnamon was very effective and it was very delicious 😌
There is information on desserts to take home,
Once I knew I wasn't going to buy anything, I quickly paid the bill. .
I wanted you to stay a little longer 🤣❤️
Cake set cost 2900 yen.
View fee, location, cake fee, tea fee.
I think it's very expensive, but
Maybe it makes sense if you consider all the costs involved?
It's generally expensive though.
I was able to call a taxi on my way home!
It is said to be a famous cafe in Mt. Kamakura.
Because it's a place you can't easily go to.
I had a very good experience!
A very unique cafe with a great view. Pretty expensive compared with other places though.

It is located in an upscale residential area in the mountains.
It was a small restaurant with two seats for four people by the window and one seat for two people inside.
You can see the forest from the big window and even see squirrels🐿️!
I was planning to go by taxi, but there is currently a shortage of taxis in Kamakura, so I had a hard time getting one (even though I used apps and called taxi companies), so please be careful.
The cheesecake is extremely rich and quite large, so it will fill you up.
Drinks are either coffee or tea, and although the tea is served in a pot, the coffee comes in two cups and you can refill it☕️
The vessel was Dior.
